What an ambassador does

• Share StayLister in your college and course WhatsApp and Facebook groups when rooms come up or people are looking.
• Help friends post their room, or a Room wanted ad, so landlords with a room message them.
• Tell us what students at your college need: the areas, the budgets, what is missing.

What you get

StayLister is free for everyone and has no income yet, so the role is unpaid for now.

• A reference letter: After a term as an ambassador, a signed letter from StayLister describing what you did, for job and course applications.
• "Campus ambassador" on your profile: A line on your StayLister profile for now; a badge on your profile and messages once badges are built.
• First look at new rooms: Email alerts for new rooms near your college, the moment they go live.
• A small thank-you per live ad, later: StayLister has no income yet, so the role is unpaid for now. Once we have income, ambassadors get a small thank-you for every live ad they bring in. We will say so on this page when that starts.

Fill in the form on this page: your name, college, course, email and the college or course groups you are in. A person on our team emails you within a week.

Common questions

Is it paid?

Not yet. StayLister is free for everyone and has no income today. The reference letter, the profile line and the alerts start straight away; a small thank-you per live ad comes once we have income.

How much time does it take?

A few hours a term. There are no targets: share when it is useful, help a friend post, and tell us what you hear.

Who can apply?

Any student at an Irish college or university, in any year or course. One or two ambassadors per college to start.

What happens after I apply?

A person on our team reads every application and emails you within a week. We keep your details only to run the ambassador scheme.
